David BlatnerKeymasterFunny you should bring this up, because it is exactly the kind of thing we are talking about here:
No, you cannot currently manage that kind of spacing automatically. You would have to apply the space manually, for each paragraph.
David BlatnerKeymasterI would suggest adjusting the Space After setting for the Level 2 toc entry paragraph style.
David BlatnerKeymasterToCs can be tricky. You can post an image on a site like https://postimage.org and then include a link (or img tag? not sure) here.

David BlatnerKeymasterDo a search for “database” here at indesignsecrets and you’ll find a wide range of possibilities. If you want a direct connection, you might look at DataLinker from Teacup Software, InCatalog from Em Software, or EasyCatalog from 65bit.

David BlatnerKeymasterDon’t know… strange… usually happens when there is paragraph formatting (such as Keep Options) turned on (sometimes just on some paragraphs), or if there is something (sometimes hidden objects) that has text wrap somewhere on the page.
David BlatnerKeymasterThat is very strange, Humberto! You are in InDesign and look at the Window menu and you cannot see “Tools”? Very strange. Perhaps choose Arrange > Workspace > Advanced?

David BlatnerKeymasterYes, Colin Flashman addressed this a while back… This is kind of crazy, but it can work:

David BlatnerKeymasterI wrote a book with Steve Werner and Chris Smith years ago called “Moving to InDesign”, which you can find used for really cheap. Here it is on US amazon site. The whole idea of the book was: you already know PageMaker or QuarkXPress… now how do you do it in InDesign?
I also do training videos at lynda.com. You can get a free week trial at: https://www.lynda.com/trial/indesignsecrets
Good luck with the transition! It will be worth it.
David BlatnerKeymasterYup, you need to put the pieces in parentheses, and then use $2 $1 in the change to field to “turn them around.”
I know that’s cryptic, sorry, but there’s much more info if you look at: https://creativepro.com/grep
David BlatnerKeymasterOkay, here is the definitive discussion, based on Levi’s original great question:
https://creativepro.com/better-framemaker-indesign.php
David BlatnerKeymasterWow, that’s bad. PB means “pasteboard.” Like your pages think they’re on the pasteboard!
I would export as IDML and then re-open that IDML file and see if that fixes it. Or you might have to move your pages to a new document?
Might be some kind of weird corruption.
David BlatnerKeymasterAh! I understand now. I didn’t know they still put “English” in the title. Okay, yes, it is Adobe’s own Hebrew version. Okay, so now that we have that settled, the answer is still: I don’t know. ;)
But I’m still curious about the font issue: Whether it’s all fonts, or just the ones from a particular vendor. It sounds like a font encoding problem. Does it work with Adobe Hebrew?
David BlatnerKeymasterWhat kind of Hebrew support? ID doesn’t come with Hebrew support. Perhaps you’re using a plug-in or script?
David BlatnerKeymasterMac? Windows? Using InDesign ME? Or InDesign with In-Tools.com’s World Tools plug-in? All Hebrew fonts or just some?

David BlatnerKeymasterInteresting and weird. The only thing I can think of is: Flash? Those panels are built with Flash and/or AIR, I think. I can never remember the technical details, exactly. But if Flash isn’t installed, perhaps they can’t run? Not sure.
