How long are the project sheets? One good option is to use File > Place to place the pages of one InDesign file into another. They act like graphics wherever you place them, but you can place the same INDD file into many different other INDD files.

I doubt there’s any way to get what you’re looking for here. In general, if you’re going to do manual trapping, it should be done in the program that created the objects.

It’s hard to make the TOC feature ignore text that you have put in the line. You may just have to clean it up later with a find/change.

You need a new printer.
Or at least you need a new way to convert text to outlines:

Actually, this might not get around the problem that Dwayne suggested (the printer marks) but at least it will save you other problems.

Hard to know. Perhaps the character style has No Break assigned to it, or some other formatting that is causing some reflow?
