Anne-Marie ConcepcionMembersomething’s wonky w/your InDesign Piccia. Both groups and objects can be hyperlinks or buttons that lead to URLs. I just retested to confirm.
Here’s the Publish Online version:

I’m using InDesign CC 2015.3 (latest update). I know that earlier versions of CC, perhaps 2014, could not do object hyperlinks in FXL. Be sure you’re in the right version?

Anne-Marie ConcepcionMemberHave you gone to that reference in the book and looked for the telltale index marker hidden character?
Anne-Marie ConcepcionMemberAs far as I know, Wanda, it’s not possible to include a form (or at least, one that users can fill out) in an EPUB.
You might look at something like PubCoder, CircularFLO, or the In5 plug-in (he might have a forms widget..?) which allow for more interactivity in FXL exported from ID.
We’ll be talking and demo-ing these kinds of solutions at PePcon (https://pepcon.com) in June … questions like these are *exactly* why we host the conference!

Anne-Marie ConcepcionMemberA mystery!
Do the fixed width tables have images in any cells, perhaps? Or did you define a width for a column/s in them?
Another clue is to look at the HTML for them, if you’re brave…

Anne-Marie ConcepcionMemberKen: lol
;-)
Anne-Marie ConcepcionMemberVery strange! I would try creating a new document and seeing if you can replicate the problem. Drag out a curved path and put some text on it with the same font. Make sure you can see it in Preview mode. Export to PDF. Can you see it?
If so, you had a corrupt document (or path). If not, has to be a wonky, mis-coded font. imo.

Anne-Marie ConcepcionMemberIt would help to see a screen shot. Can you upload a screen shot someplace (dropbox for ex) and then post a link to it here?
Anne-Marie ConcepcionMemberExcellent answer, Ari!
You can also create a paragraph style for your tables that would center them and apply the other paragraph attributes you might want.

Anne-Marie ConcepcionMemberhang on
Anne-Marie ConcepcionMemberTo be fair though, InDesign users (the people who come to this blog) don’t use InCopy. They use InDesign. Their *editors* and other subject matter experts use it, but not them. So the results of the poll aren’t that surprising.
Another poll might ask “How do colleagues edit copy on your layout proofs?” Possible answers:
– Manually mark up printouts
– Use PDF commenting tools
– Use InCopy
– Use their own copy of InDesignAM
