TypeStyler for Mac OS X Finally Ships

Press release
After seven long years in development, Strider Software proudly announces the release of TypeStyler for Mac OS X.
Strider invites you to try the new TypeStyler, available as a fully functional sixty day tryout from their website at www.typestyler.com.
Mac luminary Ted Landau said in his recent article, “The Return of TypeStyler”: “There isn’t any Mac software, past or present, that can match TypeStyler 3… all Strider had to do was convert the original TypeStyler to a Mac OS X version and it would have a winner. And that’s what they did. But Strider did not stop there. They’ve thrown in an array of new features that make the program superior to its Classic predecessor.”
Dave Stillman, Strider’s Director of Operations, said, “The new version takes TypeStyler’s unequaled control over text shaping, styling, flow and layout even further by exploiting Apple’s latest technologies such as Unicode, Core Image, OpenGL, QuickTime and Quartz compositions.”
TypeStyler now runs natively on Intel Macs in both Leopard and Snow Leopard, as well as on PowerPC Macs running Tiger or Leopard.
TypeStyler is available as a download for $179.95. A retail boxed version with printed manual will be available for $199.95. Owners of previous versions of TypeStyler can upgrade to the latest TypeStyler for $99.95.
Users who purchased TypeStyler after 2003 should contact Strider because their upgrade price is simply the difference between the upgrade cost and the amount they have already paid. This could be as little as ten dollars!
If you download the fully functional Mac trial version, you can use all features, including save, export, and print, for 60 days.

$190 this surely is a joke

there should be a hyphen in the forum URL between typestyler and forum
and BTW: I’ve downloaded the new version, and although I find the price a bit steep, it’s worth it for me to be able to use TypeStyler again.

What is even better than Typestyler (and replaced it for me) is Art Text 3. Can do cool headings and text effects like 3D text and others. It also can do icons and logos: https://www.belightsoft.com/art-text/
