      You CAN embed fonts with a .mobi file. And they look GREAT, and they don't mess up the functionality.

      Also, I tried exporting for .epub and embedding fonts. It had no effect whatsoever on the validation. But the fonts did not show up on the screen, so it's better not to take the chance, there.
