Where to find embeddable fonts?

      Is there any way to get a list of specific fonts that can actually be embedded in a InDesign-generated EPUB or Kindle ebook? Free fonts would be nice, but even purchased fonts would be useful if they work for both EPUB and Kindle. Thanks in advance for any help!

      I know that Adobe fonts can be embedded in DPS apps; I think they may have also included epubs in that.

      Yikes! The fonts on FontSpring.com cost hundreds of dollars for a license to embed them in ONE eBook. At least the two fonts I randomly chose from their “most popular” list.

      Try fontsquirrel.com or https://www.google.com/webfonts (you can download fonts from here too, not just link to them for your web site).

      Thank you, Anne-Marie and David! I should have been more specific in my original post, and asked for fonts that can be licensed to embed in an ebook. I've seen a lot of discussion online about how few fonts are available to be licensed for embedding in ebooks. Kind of discouraging, actually.

      I'll check out all the font websites you mentioned.

      On another note, I just downloaded InDesign CS6 trial version. I've been running CS5.5 and it sounds like several nagging problems have been addressed in CS6 for exporting epubs, like specifying multiple paragraph styles for page breaks (document breaks). Should be fun trying out the trial version!

      Are you aware of any font issues from CS5.5 and earlier versions that have been solved in CS6?
