    I’ve checked the “vertical alignment centered” in every place I can think of> paragraph styles and cell styles, and yet my columns in my tables are shifting slightly with each line, I cannot get each line to independently center vertically. Any ideas anyone?

    I have a screen shot, but don’t see anywhere to post it.

    I’ve partially figured it out, I have fixed the problem in most, but not all, of the table except one area.

    Here’s what I did to fix it:

    In the paragraph style options, under “Indents and Spacing” I previously had “Align to Grid–>All Lines”
    I turned it to “NONE”
    Most text is now vertically centered.

    But in one area it is not – still trying to figure this out.

    Finally fixed the last area by clicking on the “vertically center” icon in the very top menu bar.
