    Hello,

    Has any one used text variables to insert number reference in an object either diagram or table (text fields for the diagram would sit over the top).

    The basic piece of work the variable would need to do is take the page reference for the heading at the start of a chapter and output it on another page that holds a diagram showing the structure of the book. This is repeated many times over the book (textbook).

    Thanks David – it’s not something I can explain easily without showing the diagram but I don’t think text variables will do the job.
