    Hope someone out here more clever than me knows how to do this…

    I'm wondering if there's a way to put a box around a paragraph that's NOT manual. Maybe using paragraph style? Here's what I'm doing:

    • Am laying out a restaurant guide with over 5,000 locations; each location is it's own paragraph
    • Some locations have advertising, and need a box around it to draw the reader's attention
    • I know I could put the box around it manually, but seems very inefficent
    • I've looked into rule above/rule below, but it just doesn't look look nice for my purposes

    Any ideas?

    The new version of Column Flow (not up for download yet…) can do this: https://in-tools.com/plugin.php?p=4

    Thanks guys. I'll give the highlighting an entire paragraph a try. I have a 500+ page book with lots of paragraphs that break across columns, so I hope it works. Manually putting a box around paragraphs just isn't an option.

    Will give you an update when I have one.

    BTW, David, I just bought your updated “Real World” inDesign CS4 book. I had the old CS2 one and figured it was time to upgrade! It's still the best inDesign book out there.
