I have a 154 page book formatted in indesign and I now need to increase the inner margins by 1/4 inch. I can easily adjust the margins of the page….but how do I get the text boxes to do the same? (The text boxes aren’t on the master pages, just the margins. Originally, the text boxes automatically flowed to match the margins once the first text box was created on the page.)

      Thank you for any help!

Thanks David! The frames do touch the margins, but I’m still confused about how to use Layout Adjustment. I have CS6 and I don’t see it. Is it the same as “Liquid Layout” or “Create Alternative Layout”? I’m not sure which settings to select. The document has mostly text with some images and multiple chapters.

      Thank you!!

Jessica, I’m having the same problem. Did you ever find a solution?

Go to “Layout” and scroll down to “Liquid Layout”

When that pallete opens, you will see a tiny arrow on the far right hand side of the pallete.

Click that and “Layout Adjustment” will appear. Click that.
