Thank you for taking time to answer my question. I have this table which cells are exactly 2 inch wide and 1 inch tall, I can’t make them wider or taller. The table contents comes from the links name. (example: 12345_123456789000_this_is_an_fpo_v2.jpg). As you can see the link’s name can be long or sometimes short.
Is there a way to “clip” the links name into the 2 inch cell and keep it within a single line? Something like this:
———————————————
12345_123456789_this_is_an_
———————————————

I understand it can be done with hyphenate but I don’t want the red dot (overset text) to show or the hyphen at the end.
      Thank you

      … Reducing the font size?

Sorry forgot to mention, I can’t reduce the font size.

I’ve no idea, why this is a good solution for you (clip the contents), but a script could calculate the width of the content and clip it.
