      Hi All,

I’ve been doing some research on working with globally converting text to tables but sadly am coming up short. My problem is I am working with a catalog type document where I need to convert a specific set of paragraph styles to tables. I wish I was able to upload an image to better explain what I’m doing so bear with me.

This document outputs from a database as a tagged .txt file. I am able to use Find/Change to convert the pre-created styles to my own but there is a piece of information for each entry that needs to be converted from tabs to a table. There are also hundreds of instances where I need to do this. The only solution I can think of is doing this manually by highlighting the text and converting this to a table and then applying the styles after all the tables are created. As you can imagine this is time consuming.

My question is, is there a script or plugin or better way to take a specific paragraph style/ or set of styles and globally convert all those instances into a table? Again, I wish I could attach a reference image to better explain this issue.

      Thanks again.
