I have been given a 350 page PowerPoint presentation…. God help me. I have converted the entire PowerPoint presentation to one PDF file.

I have a spread of two 8.5 x 11 pages. Each page has two frames with a stroke on them. So you have a left page with two frames and a right page with two frames…. four frames per spread.

Is there any way to auto flow this one PDF into the frames while creating new pages if needed?

I know you can use a script to flow one PDF page to one InDesign page. I need to get two PDF pages into two frames on one or more InDesign pages.

      Any help would be appreciated.

I would just put 4 graphic frames on the master page (2 on left, 2 on right). Then, on the document page, use File > Place. Turn on Show Import Options when you place the PDF, which gives you the ability to import all the pages from the PDF. Then start clicking…

Click, click, cmd-shift-p (to add new page), click click, cmd-shift-p…

Totally tedious, but you’ll get through 350 pages in 10 minutes. Otherwise it would take over 20 minutes just to find a script, figure out if it works, etc. :-)
