Hello, I work with fashion catalogs, and I need to do first make a label file for each reference, then I always have to open all INDDs files and copy/paste into a single document to build the catalog.
Like to know if has as make a script to import the files INDDs editables.
Thanks.
Import (“Place”, in correct InDesign terminology) always creates a link to the file, and it seems you don't want that.
As often with such requests, it's easy to write a script that does all of the “copy/paste” operations for you — but how would this script know what to copy and then to paste where?
You can use Layout Zone from automatication.com to convert placed INDD files into editable objects.
Thank you so much Daivid, Layout Zone is awsome, I would like to know if have how to make a script to make all links “indd” editable at once. and again thanks for your advice…
