Hi there!
I’m hoping you all can help me solve a paragraph style puzzle—at least it is to me :)
(Not sure how to load a screen shot, so I’ll try to describe it as best I can)
The style is for an intro paragraph, which begins with a grey bar, followed by two orange vertical lines, and then the text, which has the first line as bold larger text. Originally, it was set up with nested styles, a line style, and an underline style for the grey bar. The designer had to type 2 tabs, the two vertical lines, and another tab at the beginning of the paragraph for it all to kick in:
TAB TAB || TAB
Of course, we’d much rather be able to click, style and go, so that’s my current mission!
So far, I’ve got the vertical bars set up using the bullet option and the line style for the bold larger text, but the real challenge is that grey bar. I don’t want to use paragraph rule because then the designer can’t resize the text box. Currently I’ve got a library item set up to anchor in front of the bullet (as an object style so it drops in place and locks), but I’d still love to have it where nothing has to be typed or added.
Any ideas?
