    I'm currently working on a style that applies a paragraph rule to text, that is is offset and the weight fills the background of the text. So that the text appears to have a field of color behind it. The issue that I'm having is the text I'm using is oblique, so there is a very small edge of the text that does not have the field of color behind it.

    Any suggestions on how to get the rule to extend a very small amount beyond the last letter of the word?

    Nevermind…I solved my own problem. All I needed to do was set the right indent on the style to extend the gray rule beyond the text. An easy fix! :-)

    Use a negative value for the left and right indent
