paragraph and character style buttons missing.

      I just upgraded from CS5 to CC 2015 and I see that the buttons on the bottom of the paragraph and character style panels are missing. You know the new style, delete, etc. Is there some way to turn them on or a keyboard shortcut for new style that I am missing?
