I have a script written by Thomas Silkjær called fix_pstyle_pairs.jsx – it finds 2 consecutive paragraphs with para styles as specified and applies para styles that you set.
The problem is it only does one pair and you can’t save the settings; it resets to blank dialogs so you have to scroll through your styles list and re-select them every time you run it. I’m doing a series of chapters for several textbooks so I want to save a few sets of pairs to run for each chapter.
I actually own Harbs’ (In-Tools) PowerStyles, but it isn’t compatible yet with CC2017 so I need something else that works now.
ID-Extras sells Change Consecutive Paragraphs for $49 but again you have to run it on one set at a time. At least the demo I tried saved the most recent set of styles, which Fix Para Style Pairs does not do. But I don’t know if I can customize it to make multiple versions.
Does anyone have a script or plugin that will allow me to save pre-set pairs of para styles? If I could figure out where to enter the style names into the fix_pstyle_pairs.jsx script, I could save multiple versions but I can’t see where in the script I would put those.
Does anyone know of an existing solution for this? If not, is anyone willing to modify the fix_pstyle_pairs.jsx script for a fee? I’d be willing to pay for a script that I could run on 2 or 3 macs.
