      Hi,

I am newbie in inDesign and ePubs. If i have like ten .pdf’s eBooks that need to become ePubs, then:

      1. Extract text and images with Acrobat. Fonts?
      2. Design with the text and images the eBook in inDesign.
      3. Export EPUB file
      4. Revision and open in Oxygen to see all the mistakes and problems
      5. Correct the mistakes in Dreamviewer with HTML, CSS
      6. Revision and change as long as it becomes great.

Is this basically the road to have high-quality end result? :) Or is there a better solution?

      Thank you for any feedback!

      Hi Uku

If you are looking to make fixed layout ebooks then my company’s software ‘CircularFLO’ https://www.circularflo.com can create fully searchable fixed layout EPUB3 and zoomable Amazon KF8 straight from your print PDFs via our tools working alongside InDesign on the Mac.

Starts from $99 per book for both KF8 and EPUB3. Exact reproductions, no hassles with fonts, no need to open the files and try to fix code…

99$ is over the budget and epub 2 needed. Do you really get with CircularFLO perfect EPUB’s? How much time do you spend on a 150 page eBook?

Yes you get valid EPUB3 and searchable text. When working from PDFs we use an option called ’embedded text’ which exactly preserves the appearance from the original page. All done automatically in minutes… get in touch if you want to a free trial! https://www.circularflo.com/contact/

Although it sounds as though you are looking for reflowable? Fixed layout is only EPUB3 and KF8 not EPUB2 so not an option.
