    I’m typesetting a book.
    The author/editor did not send it with any styles in Word, only local formatting.
    She colored different sections so I would know what category they fit in (there are quotes/inspiration/food for thought dispersed in the text).
    When I import it into ID, the color spills out onto things that were not that color in the original file. For example, in the Word file there is one word in blue, but in the import, the next 6 paragraphs come up on blue instead of back.

    In the import options, I chose the preserve styles and formatting option.

    Any ideas?
