I have an issue I don't know how to solve. I'm designing a menu board. Each “entry” has a title and description, each on separate paragraphs. In the description paragraphs there are several descriptors, each separated by a “space-bullet-space” character combination (ie…Onion • Lettuce • Green Pepper…). The problem I have is this…I don't want the “space-bullet-space” to begin, or end a line; but I still want the text to flow.

Is there a way to hide a particular character string if it comes at the beginning or end of a line?

BTW I'm running CS4 on OSX Lion.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
