    Hi All,

    I am new to InDesign and scripts, I have 2 issue in front of me:

    1) Am working for physics client, there are a lot of units in the paper. Is there any way to find the bad breaks of units in the InDesign document.

    2) I just want to highlight the loose and tight line in the same document, While I am using the H&J violations and Custom Tracking/Kerning options the whole document is getting highlighted. I need a script for only highlight the loose or tight lines or word in the document.

    Please someone helps me.

    If all the lines in the document are highlighted, then they are ALL violations. :-)
    My suggestion is to turn off Custom Tracking/Kerning highlighting.

    When you say finding bad breaks of units, can you give us examples? For example, is it like “3 cm” and “40 Hz”? If so, you might be able to do a special grep style that can find those for you. Maybe this will help?

    Thanks for the comments.

    1) I hope now I can able to control the bad breaks of units.

    2) Now I can able to see the yellow color highlights for loose and tight lines. But I just want to see only the lines are too tight or loose. Is there any way to highlights lines only too loose or tight.

    There is no way to control what “too loose” or “too tight” means, though you can look for darker or lighter shades of yellow.

    But here is one trick that might help:

    Thanks for the response, Both methods are working fine for me now.

    Now I have one more question to you. Is there a way to find out the majority language used in the InDesign document (US or UK). And how to change the rest of the word with majority language spell.
