Group Objects in 2 Layers

      So I select several objects that are on 2 layers, I then group them and InDesign puts them onto 1 layer. I want to keep them grouped but on their own layers (they are artwork and price layers which need to be separate).
      Is this possible?

      Unfortunately, InDesign cannot do that.

      However, in the layers panel there’s a menu on the top right, tick Ungroup remembers layers.

      When you group objects together you can then Ungroup them and they return to the original layers.

      Not sure if that helps.
