    I’m currently working on a document where I’ve added anchors within the text. Sometimes I’ll add multiple anchor markers next to each other. I typically work with hidden characters on so I can easily see spacing.

    In this project, when I try and add two anchor markers next to each other, the anchor marker is huge! I don’t have any styles or overrides that would suggest that’s the culprit. My body text is 12pt with some GREP styling. The marker is over 200pt tall…

    Any suggestions?

    I have had a similar experience with custom anchored objects. It seems that the size of the custom anchored object marker is directly related to the leading of the paragraph. So in my case, a paragraph with 15 point leading will have a small anchored object marker. But when I increase the leading to 200 points, the anchor marker gets huge. Maybe try experimenting with the leading and see if that changes anything.
