      I have 2 questions about footnotes in CS5.

      1. I would like to have my first footnote be an asterisk and the following footnotes to start from 1 and so on… is this possible?

      2. I am trying to allign my footnotes without the actual number alligning with it but it does not seem to work.

      please help me!

      1. No. Not without cheating, and doing the first note manually.
