For similar reasons outlined in this article: https://dylanvalade.com/post/74649521957/how-to-find-synced-typekit-fonts-on-your-computer i have been trying to find the location of the typekit fonts. But this method seems to be out of date and doesn’t work anymore. Does anybody have any ideas on how to find the font files?

      Thanks

They’re hidden pretty well and they cannot be packaged. Adobe does not want you to copy these fonts (for obvious reasons).

I see, thank you David. I am new to Typekit. I do not intend to package them or copy them, i just don’t want to be without them for whatever sync related reason which i have been seeing can happen.

Hm. What kind of sync related issue? Once you sync the fonts, you should be able to use them, as long as the Creative Cloud app is also running.

But yes, if you no longer subscribe to CC, then you will no longer have access to those fonts. (Another good reason to make a PDF of your document, so you can always at least have that. Typekit fonts are embedded in pdfs.)

The Creative Cloud App mysteriously disappeared and i have had to re-install it, so i was down those fonts for a while there.
