Find/Change Info from Excel Sheet

Hi I'm working on converting a Canadian price list over to a US price list. Right now I am copying the product code from the indesign file, going my excel file, finding the product code and copying the new price(the excel sheet is not in the same order that the indesign file). My question is can I somehow match the product codes in the excel file to the indesign file to replace the prices (which are in a different column)or another function to automate this process? Thanks!
