Has anyone experienced slowdown in their files when they use one background file (i.e. a texture that's a tif or an eps) in multiple places within a document? Whenever I'm printintg or exporting, it always seems to just hang on those background files that are used multiple times in a document. Is there a solution?

Sorry about the typo in the headline! I meant *one* resource file. :-8

it will depend on the size of the image. For speeding up the computer you can switch to View>Display Performance>Typical (lo res preview) or Fast Display (shows grey boxes)

For printing it will depend on the data in the file.

For printing if you go to the Graphics area of the Print Dialog box and choose “PROXY” which will print faster but the image quality will be lo-res.
