      Hi guys,

Not sure if anyone has had the same issue. When trying to export to pdf I am getting an error ‘1 problem (1 failure) was found with a background task.’

I have done a preflight and nothing is showing so I am really confused!

There are a total of 14 pages in the document, 13 of which I have managed to export individually. But there is one that I can’t export.

Does anyone know what I can do?

      Thanks!

      Matt

There could be a multitude of reasons. I get this sometimes and simply do a restart and it’s OK.

Sorry didn’t read the problem properly. If the other pages are OK there is clearly something on the rogue page it doesn’t like. What does it comprise, exactly?

Hi Barry, tried a restart and it didn’t work.

The page that wont export contains 4 text boxes and 8 images if that helps in anyway?

UPDATE: I have copied and pasted the images to another blank document on InDesign and tried to export it that way but it didn’t work.

I presume it is one of the images that I am using on this document that is causing the trouble?

I suppose you’ll have to delete the images one at a time to find the problem one.

Yes, delete everything one at a time until you find what it is. Once I had an entire duplicate of another page in the document with all the images and text in, but about 2mm x 2mm on my page. Lord only knows how.
