Hi everyone,
Something strange happens when I export my Indesign document to a RTF file. Let me explain :
My document is in French and in French the quotation marks are like this << some text >>. In the RTF file, the opening quotation mark is correct, i.e. <<, but the closing quotation mark is upside down, like this <<. It looks like the opening quotation mark.
When I select it in the RTF file and try to set up the language, it appears that my closing quotation mark is in Arabic !!! I do not have arabic in my text, AT ALL ! I tried to set up the language to French but the closing quotation mark still appears the wrong way. It seems that Word reads/display the closing quotation mark from right to left instead of left to right… I don’t know
When I copy/paste the closing quotation mark into the search dialog box for instance, it appears right (I mean not in arabic).
Do you have any idea where it comes from ? Is it because of my export from InDesign ?
And how I can make this closing quotation mark appears in the right way ? My document is quite long with lots of quotations marks in it.
Any help will be appreciated. Many thanks in advance.
Flo
