      Hi All

Is it possible, on pdf export, for Indesign to convert placed cmyk images to ISOnewspaper26v4 and lower max TAC to 240?

Thus saving time having to open the images in photoshop, convert to ISOnewspaper26v4 profile, re-save and re-import.

I know that this would not be an issue in a RGB workflow.

      Thanks in advance
      Ben

You can force InDesign to cross-render from CMYK to CMYK. It’s been a while since I tried it, though. Hm. See if these two articles help:

See the “Forcing InDesign to Cross-Render the CMYK” here:

Did You Know InDesign Ignores CMYK Profiles?

      and then see:

Force Color Images to CMYK with a 240% Ink Limit
