    I design albums in inDesign CS6, I was making an 11 x 14 album,( 22 x 14 spread). The master page and graphic frame, (filled with magenta), were both 22 x 14 exactly.

    Exported as a jpeg, @ 300 dpi, it added .003. Always on the right edge. Viewed in Photoshop CC there was the extra .003 added so the jpeg now measured 22.003 x 14, this .003 strip not covered with the color frame always on the right side. Added a ton of work to crop each spread and extend the color background to cover.

    I started several new documents without any content and on export .003 was added every time only on the larger page size.

    I had also set the magenta color background to 255 Red 0 Green 255 Blue in Photoshop CC it read 255 Red 0 Green but 254 Blue
    Where did the blue point go?

    I have make many 28 x 10 page spreads and have always exported and had the correct size.

    Could inDesign CS6 not play well with Photoshop CC

    Any help with this mystery, greatly appreciated.

    It’s hard to know with these very tiny changes; usually comes down to rounding errors. It’s possible that something changed in Photoshop CC, though I haven’t heard that.

    I do know that many people get better results by exporting PDF from InDesign and then opening (rasterizing) that PDF in Photoshop (instead of exporting jpeg from ID). Try that?

    Thank you David, I will try the PDF export, hoping that the image files are not downgraded. My suspicion is the large size, the 10 x 14 albums, a 10 x 28 spread do not have problem.

    FYI…IT WORKED no added pixels and the magenta did not loose a blue point, I am so appreciative of your help.

    I have a similar problem: create a 2000px x 1125px spread and exported it to jpeg format. The resulting image exports are 2667px x 1500px in size! What is happening here? Is there a setting I might have overlooked?

    I read on this website that I could export to size via a script available for free. Also, it seems that 72ppi is the standard resolution if I want 1:1 export size. If using another resolution, as I was using (96ppi), the resulting export is larger than the spread.
