Define Bullets & Numbering position for document?

Hi there. I would like to define the Left indent and First line indent for my Bullets and Numbers so that i don't have to keep doing it manually in Paragraph. Thank you

  That is a wonderful opportunity to learn to use Paragraph Styles! You can set the indents and other helpful settings in your paragraph styles:

    Ok so i hit a bit a of a problem with the numbers David. Each new set of numbers i created would continue on from the last number instead of starting from scratch.
    
    So at the end of each chapter there are three points to be made, 1. 2. 3. But after the first chapter when i used the new paragraph style it would start 4. 5. 6. not 1. 2. 3.
    
    I googled it and found this article: https://creativepro.com/why-wont-my-list-numbering-restart/ But it didn’t quite work, i’m on CS6 btw. So i just changed the level in Paragraph, which worked fine until i got level 9 and don’t have any levels left so it starts 4. 5. 6. again.
    
    Any suggestions?
