      Here is one option: https://creativepro.com/free-script-to-change-all-numbers-in-a-document-using-math.php

I do not think Active Tables does what you want, but it is a cool plug-in to know about: https://www.dtptools.com/product.asp?id=atid

That script works for me. Pick *either* the comma or the full stop as your decimal settings. Then check the setting in the main script dialog under “Numbers are formatted as” — select the correct format for your numbers. You do *not* have to have the same thousands’ group separation character, only the decimal separator.

On your sample text “comma figures (2,3 or 2.3) non of them”, multiplying by 10, with the top option (decimal point):

comma figures (230 or 23) non of them

and the bottom option (decimal comma):

wit comma figures (23 or 230) non of them

.. both seem to work as expected.

        Hi Jongware
Maybe my english is not so good, but I don’t understand it quite away.
I have tried to choose different “numbers formatted as” with no difference.

It’s not doing it in Indesign, but if you link to an Excel table, you can update the linked file and maintain the formatting. Or just copy the column, paste to Excel, do the math, and then copy & paste it back in. Not ideal for a long document but it’s worth mentioning for just a few tables because when you paste into a table from outside of Indesign, you can retain the Indesign formatting.

      Thanks Matt
But all my prices are comming from Exel, and until now i have made the calculations there.
I get the Exel sheet from AX Axapta and we have several different furnitures wich gives several diferent exel sheets to put into one indesign tabel therefore it would be an help if I could update the prices in Indesign, I have found an work around ( multply with 23 and divide with 10 afterwords gives 2,3 )but it would be nice to do direct.
