Working in ID CC 2014, my text anchor hyperlinks (sometimes in same chapter, sometimes across chapters) all worked at first, but somewhere along the road, they got broken. Not just in the exported EPUB, but in the ID files. Some of the anchor destinations were moved to other places, and some are just missing. In the ID Hyperlinks panel, when I “Click to go to destination,” some of them still go to the right place, but the href is the EPUB is blank. In the EPUB, most of them click to the beginning of that chapter instead of the original destination. Only two of 29 still work properly. The format of the HTML code in the EPUB looks the same for the broken ones (that aren’t blank) as it does for the two working ones. No red flags in the Hyperlinks panel, but warnings after EPUB export. I don’t see a rhyme or reason to the brokenness or a way to fix it that won’t break again.
