      Good Afternoon,

I need to build a ellipse frames that have images inside. Each frame should have a rectangle dark in the bottom third so that I can place readable text.

There is an example at the bottom.

Clearly, I’m not thinking about this the right way. How do I make the hide the corners of the text box?

I feel like I’m ice skating uphill today. So, I’m going to go do some manual labor :)

Create the image as separate rectangle and group it with your textframe. Don’t use a separate rectangle and a textframe. The textframe can have a dark background as well ;-)

Group your 2 frames and paste into a ellipse.

      Kai
