A new Kickstarter project by MindShift Gear aims to fund the development of the ultimate backpack for outdoor photographers. The Rotation 180° Backpack will feature a unique integrated camera waist pack that can rotate out of the lower section to allow quick and easy access to lenses, filters, and other equipment.
This could be convenient for anyone, but especially useful in situations where putting the backpack down is not an option.
And if you’re traveling light, the rotating belt pack can be removed and used alone.
It can also be configured to hold equipment of various sizes and shapes.

The Kickstarter project, which runs through January 2, has been a huge success so far. Less than a week after launching, it has more than doubled its funding goal of $30,000. The anticipated delivery date of the Rotation 180° Backpack is April/May 2013 for USA, Canada, EU countries, Norway and Switzerland with free shipping and no tax/VAT. The product will be available in other countries in summer 2013.
