The Creative Suite Conference Launches in Las Vegas, July 20-22nd

The Creative Suite Conference will be the first conference dedicated for Adobe Creative Suite users, focusing on active learning and presentations by technical experts. Organized by Barrycon Productions, the company that produces The InDesign Conference series worldwide, the Creative Suite Conference will take place July 20-22nd at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.
The Adobe Creative Suite is a suite of software that contains page layout and design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, GoLive and VersionCue, as well as design tools. Billed as an independent conference, the event is not organized by Adobe Systems. The Conference targets Adobe Creative Suite users and features hands-on workshops and presentations from trainers, authors, and industry personalities.
Barry Anderson, organizer of The Creative Suite Conference, leveraged his previous experience with organizing the Adobe FrameMaker Conferences to form his own company. His first offering was The InDesign Conference, now successfully marketed on a worldwide level. “InDesign Conference attendees often remarked that they learned a lot and they liked the informal, upbeat environment,” says Anderson. “I’m offering that same positive learning experience for people who are serious about The Creative Suite, but are tired of trade shows with sales-oriented presentations and limited opportunities to interact with speakers and users.”
The scheduled speakers include experts from Adobe Systems, independent consultants and teachers:

  • David Blatner, a consultant specializing in InDesign, QuarkXPress and Photoshop who has authored or co-authored 13 books about these software programs.
  • Russell Preston Brown (Senior Creative Director at Adobe Systems Incorporated) works closely with the design community on product development. He is renown for his Photoshop expertise.
