Spin the Digital Photography Exposure Wheel
Created by Sessions College for Professional Design, the Digital Potography Exposure Wheel is an interactive tool to help photographers determine how to achieve proper exposure value (EV) for a wide range of lighting conditions. Photographers can select the lighting condition and determine various shutter and f-stop combinations at a wide range of ISOs, from 50 to 3200. Forget confusing EV charts and tables!
Photographers shooting either film or digital will find this tool useful. Click an icon to set exposure for a given set of conditions. Chose a setting with a fast shutter speed to freeze action. Choose a setting with a large aperture (small f-step number) for a shallow depth of field, or a setting with a small aperture (large f-stop number) for a large depth of field.
Note that the Digital Photography Exposure Wheel does require Adobe Flash to run.
