Mohawk Fine Papers Inc. announces its second quarter call for entries into the Strathmore Letterhead Competition for 2008. Second quarter entries are being accepted now through June 30, 2008.
This prestigious design competition is for letterheads and identity systems produced on Strathmore’s premium writing grades: Strathmore Pure Cotton, Strathmore Writing and Strathmore Script. Entries into the Strathmore Letterhead Contest may be submitted by designers, printers, merchants and Mohawk representatives on behalf of their customers.
Gift
Each quarter, the first 25 designers who enter the letterhead contest receive a special gift. These items change each quarter. The gift for Q2 2008 entries is an iTunes gift card for $150.
Prizes
Designers who enter are also eligible to receive one of three quarterly cash prizes:
$500 Gold
$300 Silver
$150 Bronze
An annual Grand Prize of $1,000 will be awarded in January 2009. The Grand Prize winner will be chosen from the four Gold Prize winners for that year.
Winning entries will be posted on the new Strathmore.com. Additionally, a distinctive award will be given to the designer, printer and client for each winning entry.

The Strathmore Letterhead Contest accepts entries that are produced on the following Strathmore papers:
Strathmore Pure Cotton
Available in wove finish
Strathmore Writing
Available in wove and laid finishes
Strathmore Script
Available in smooth, pinstripe and pinstripe laid finishes
Entries may be submitted by designers, printers, merchants and Mohawk representatives on behalf of their customers. The Strathmore Letterhead Contest accepts submissions of letterheads alone, or complete identity systems including envelopes, business cards, mailing labels, pocket folders and/or any additional pieces. Completed entry forms must be accompanied by 15 samples of each submission.
In further recognition of each submission, all entries are automatically entered for judging in this year’s Mohawk Show. Contest entry forms can be downloaded at www.strathmore.com.
