I agree…  if you cut the word then hit ESC then paste it without creating a frame InDesign already puts the word in a seperate non-threaded frame.  I guess the down side is you have to Copy and Paste each word.  I just don't see where a script would be need to do this.  Maybe I just don't understand the situation.
