However, the fact that it looked “right” when you export at smallest file size is an interesting clue. Smallest file size converts everything to RGB, so it’s probably quite accurate for what you see on screen. But it’s not accurate for CMYK print.

I assume you’re trying to maintain the difference between bronze and black… but that bronze is a very dark color. That’s going to be tricky to print! Remember that print may involve dot gain, which makes everything darker.
