Quark DMS
The Quark Digital Media System (QuarkDMS) is a central repository of digital content that can continually be built upon and drawn from. The system is centralized on a server and is accessible through a local area network or via the World Wide Web. Administrators are able to track asset usage and control who has what kind of access to which assets. Users can take advantage of powerful QuarkDMS query features to quickly and efficiently find and employ the assets they need. The database can keep track of a variety of digital formats including pictures, text files, QuarkXPress documents, movies, sounds, and other files.
An excellent presentation on QMS and specifically its relation with the Quark Publishing System (QPS) can be found at Elite Software. Visit the article (Highly recommended).
All the above information and more are available at the QuarkDMS product page here on creativepro.com.
