James Wamser has updated his free reference guides to all the new features in Adobe’s flagship desktop design apps, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
The InDesign New Features Guide (136 pp.) is approaching book length. In addition to listing the features released with every version of InDesign, it also offers information on InDesign experts, resources, and system requirements.
The Illustrator New Features Guide covers versions from CS6 to 2023.
The Photoshop New Features Guide covers almost 20 years, with versions from CS to 2023.
These wonderful resources offer a unique insights into the history and evolution of these three applications. You can view them on Adobe’s Publish Online service via the links above, where you can also download each one as a PDF for offline reading.

James Wamser’s guides have been invaluable to me over the past few years. Over such a length of time our graphic applications have been around, it becomes harder to remember which features were in which version. And there are other valuable resources there too!
