Pantone Releases Summer 2016 Color Trends
All your burning questions about upcoming color trends are probably answered within the pages of PANTONE’s Colour Planner Summer 2016. The 120 pages cover color forecasts—18 months ahead of the season—and are arranged by color themes. Whether you’re part of the graphic design world, an industrial designer, or inhabit the fashion realm, keeping in step with color trends is a vital skill.
The volume—which retails for $750—is set up with a ring binder, to allow for removal of the individual pages. Included is a set of removable Pantone color swatches for every color used within the eight included themes. A poster pull-out is also part of the package, to provide an overview of the entire set of themes. And to enhance and clarify future color trends, a DVD with photos and an animated version of the themes brings the forecast and seasonal moods to life. Pantone’s Colour Planner takes the guesswork out of what’s hot in colors and gives you the guidance you’ll need to navigate whichever corner of the design world you inhabit.
