New Contest! The Mystery of the Moving Overset

Solve this InDesign mystery for a chance at winning a great prize.

Hey folks, it’s time for another InDesign mystery that you can solve for a chance to win an awesome prize!

Here’s the scenario:

In your InDesign layout, there is a large round text frame with some text in it.

You decide to move the round text frame just a little, nudging it down just one point with your keyboard arrow key. When you do so, the text frame becomes overset.

If you move it back to its original location, the overset problem goes away.

The frame and the text in it are not changed in any other way, and there is nothing else on the spread, so text wrap is not causing the problem.

Why does the frame become overset when you move it?

This month’s prize is full access for 3 months to the video archives for PePCon 2016 or the CreativePro Conference (up to $495 value!).

The winner will be chosen at random from all the correct answers I receive before December 22, 2016
