New App Converts InDesign Files to Office Files
It’s a rare designer who likes to create in Microsoft Word or PowerPoint–usually, we’re much more at home in InDesign. And yet, clients often want files in the format they’re happy with: that very same Word and PowerPoint. Recosoft hopes to make everyone happy with its new InDesign plug-in, ID2Office.
ID2Office converts InDesign files (CS4, CS5, and CS5.5) to Microsoft Word/PowerPoint 2007-2011 file type without losing the layout you slaved over. Recosoft says that the ID2Office conversion engine can handle fonts, styles, linked frames, tables, and graphics. During the conversion, you can fine-tune how ID2Office treats image format type, image resolution, frame linking, and paragraph spacing.
You can license ID2Office, available now, for $199 per year.
