A New and Improved Muse

If you’re a designer who would like to be able to create websites without having to work with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code, Adobe has just the ticket for you. It’s called Muse and it’s a very InDesign-like application for creating websites without coding.

If you’re at all interested in learning about Muse, head over to the lynda.com blog where James Fritz has posted a full round-up of all the recent new features (and improvements to existing features) in Adobe Muse.

The newest version of Muse offers cleaner code generation, ruler guides, an Align panel, a rebuilt font menu, basic form field creation, downloadable assets, and a slew of usability and user interface improvements.

Here’s the video that accompanies the article:

Also at lynda.com, there are several videos from James’ Muse Essential Training that are open for anyone to view, including Understanding Print vs. Web Design, A Tour of the Muse Interface, and more.
