New AIGA Webinars Highlight Adobe Technology
AIGA members can look forward to six free webinars as part of a series called “Breakthroughs: Where Inspiration and Technology Meet.” The series is offered in conjunction with Adobe, so not surprisingly, there’s a heavy focus on how technology is used in today’s design studios.
The webinars begin in May and run through November 2011:
May 25: Inspiration + Technology = Breakthroughs
June 22: Devices Everywhere: Smartphones and Tablets and Consoles (Oh My!)
July 27: Responsive Web Design: Design Once, Display Everywhere
September 21: Re-inventing the Magazine Experience for the Digital Era
October 19: Measuring Success
November 16: Type for the Digital Era
Whether or not these seminars appeal to you, AIGA is an excellent organization for designers that’s well worth joining. Other benefits include discounts on software, hardware, stock photography, and training, and full access to AIGA’s job listing. The full benefits list is here.
There are several membership levels, with annual dues running from $95 to $315.
