Netotiate Offers a New Way to Shop Online

In the market for your next camera, but you’re not sure you can afford the gear you want? Looking for some new software that won’t break the bank? You might want to look into a new site called Netotiate.com, which allows shoppers to name their own price for items, and make anonymous offers to specific merchants.

Here’s how the site works:

You start by searching for an item you want. When you find it, you then select a merchant offering that item to negotiate, or rather "netotiate" with. You can name your price, and the system will let you know the probability of you actually getting the item for that price. You can submit only one binding offer for an item to a specific merchant. Your offer is then sent to merchant, who can accept it, decline it, or begin a process of netotiation. In addition to price discounts, the merchant may also use incentives like coupons, shipping discounts, and additional accessories to reach an agreement with you.

Since Netotiate is still fairly new, the list of merchants is somewhat limited, but there are several options for finding photography equipment, computers, software, electronics, appliances, sporting goods, and more.
